The film:
Some struggles can change the course of history. Denis Mukwege, a Congolese doctor and future Nobel Peace Prize laureate, treats—at the risk of his own life—thousands of women victims of sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. His encounter with Guy-Bernard Cadière, a Belgian surgeon, will reinvigorate his commitment.
